On July 1st, the IBGE will release, as Experimental Statistics, the Special Survey on 2024 Floods in Rio Grande do Sul - PEERS


On July 1st, at 10 am, the IBGE will release the Special Survey on 2024 Floods in Rio Grande do Sul - PEERS, which shows, on an experimental and unprecedented character, information obtained from housing units on the impacts of the event. The survey includes issues related to the general characteristics of the residents hit, degree of severity faced, effects of the rainfall over their lives, houses and surroundings, conditions of work and study before and after the rainfall, perception of life quality after the disaster, as well as preventive and recovery measures.

These statistics are classified as experimental and should be used with caution, as they are new statistics still in in the testing phase and under assessment.
