The IBGE will release, at 10 am on October 9, 2025, the results of the 2022 Population Census: Labor and Income: Preliminary sample results.

It will present previous unseen information on the characteristics of resident workers, such as employment status and type and detailed occupations and economic activities. Information on income from all sources (work and others) that allow the construction of inequality indicators, such as the Gini index, will also be presented.

The results are disaggregated, for example, by sex, color or race. level of education and employment status. The data will be available for Brazil, Major Regions, States and Municipalities and other geographies based on Municipalities. Specific tables for the Indigenous population will also be available. The results can be found on platforms such as SIDRA, and in the Census Overview, where they are displayed by means of interactive maps.
