The annual update of the AEB (Statistical Yearbook of Brazil) website will be available to users at 10 am on October 08 and will present, by means of tables, graphs and text, in a more interactive way, an overview of the country, in its territorial, environmental, demographic and socioeconomic aspects. The information available is produced by IBGE and other entities that are part of the National Statistical System. It is a recent format for the Statistical Yearbook of Brazil.

The AEB is a source of information that presents results of several surveys conducted by the IBGE, such as the Population Census, Vital Statistics, the Annual Survey of Industry - PIA, agricultural statistics  information from the Central Registry of Enterprises - CEMPRE, retail sales Monthly indexes, besides the main macroeconomic aggregates of the System of National Accounts - SCN, among other indicators.

The AEB website is directed to all those who wish to know more about and analyze the reality in Brazil in its multiple aspects.

The printed/pdf version was maintained until 2023. With the website, the IBGE intends to expand AEB visibility and reach an even bigger number of users.
