Description:
An error, identified by the IBGE, for the non-compliance with the period of 30 days to precede the public notice of the release date of the publication Evaluation of Data on Brazilian Biodiversity 2022. The survey will be released on Nov 23, 2023, at 10 am.
Actions: A notice of release was made available on October 31, 2023.

Correction of tables of System of Cultural Information and Indicators – SIIC 2009-2020

Description:
An error was detected in the tables of file ‘2_pesquisas_estruturais_em_empresas’ of SIIC 2009-2020. The content of line 38 was replaced by that of line 53 and vice-versa. The error was found in the first colums of all the tables of the file.
Actions: All the tables were corrected and replaced on the IBGE website.

Correction in the Annual Survey of Industry - Product 2021

Description:
Errors were identified in PIA Product 2021, relative to the amount produced and sold of product ‘2229.2090’. The information is on Table 7752 of Sidra and on ‘Tab_01_2021’ in .xls and .ods formats.
Actions: All the tables were correctd and replaced on the IBGE website.

Replacement of the complete PDF publication of the Monthly Survey of Trade related to August 2023

Description: In the monthly publication of the survey, wrong data in the text related to the regional section were published, wrongly showing the major Federation Units in terms of month-against-previous-month change, both to the retail trade and extended retail trade. In addition, in the summary section, the information that shows the difference of level between the month of August 2023 and the peak of the time series (October 2020) was also published with a wrong value.
Actions: The amended file was replaced on the IBGE portal on October 18, 2023 at 5 PM.

Errors in the dissemination of Statisitcs of the Register of Individual Micro Entrepreneur – October 4, 2023: Graph 3 and Table 21

Description:
The description of two variables on the head of Table 21 of the publication were misplaced. Where it reads "Construction" and "F" it should read "Trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles" and "G", respectively.
In the title of Graph 3, where it reads "(...) according to the indication of formal employment contract from 2009 to 2020 (...)", it should read "(...) according to the indication of formal employment contract from 2009 to 2021 (...)".
Actions: The errors were corrected and the right text will be immediately included in the PDF.

Revision of data - Municipal Livestock Production 2013 to 2020

Description:
Correction of information in the Municipal Livestock Survey between the years of 2013 and 2020, as seen below:
Shellfish seeds: Revision of the series (2013 to 2020) of the product “shellfish seeds”, in the municipality of Florianópolis, with the support from the Shellfish Laboratory of the Federal University of Santa Catarina.
Besides the descriptions above, revisions of data of other products were necessary between the years of 2018 and 2020.

Errors in the disclosure of some statistical information on Municipal Agricultural Production - PAM for the years 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020

Description:
Some errors were found in the disclosure of some statistical information on Municipal Agricultural Production - PAM for the years 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020, which, had they been previously detected, they would have been corrected at the time of publication.
In compliance with the IBGE Code of Good Practices for Statistics, developed to provide confidence and guarantee the credibility of official statistics produced by the Institute, the disclosure errors then identified were corrected and made public in this edition of the survey, through the Technical Note n. 01/2023, in which the following elements are informed: agricultural product which contained errors; reference year of the survey; municipality where the error occurred; variables associated with the agricultural product in which the error was identified; description of the type of occurrence that caused the error; previous and correct values of the variables in question; and actions to update databases.
Actions: Files were amended and replaced in the SIDRA and BME database.

Description:
The IBGE identified an error for not complying with the scheduled release date, due to the need for re-scheduling deadlines. The release date was postponed from August 30 to August 31 of 2023, and the release time changed from 10 am to 9 am.
Actions: The Note released on July 21 of 2023 was updated on August 16 and 28 of 2023.
