Description: During data collection, in item 12, of the section Education Characteristics of persons aged and over, some interviewers understood that the question referred to the conclusion of a previously-attended course, whereas the proper information should be having finished at least the first grade of a previously attended course. That mistake led to a distortion of the population's level of schooling. The following vaiables were corrected: V3001, V3009A, V3010, V3011a, V3012, V3013, V3014 and VD3001.
Actions: Microdata files corrected and replaced. Inclusion of an update note on the page of access to the files together with the Technical Note with the description of the methodology adopted for the correction of data.

Change in the microdata of Quarterly Continuous PNAD

Description: During the data collection, in item 12, of the section Characteristics of Education for persons aged 5 and over, some interviwers felt that the question intended to investigate the conclusion of a previously attended course, whereas the correct information refers to being approved in at least the first grade of a course previously attended. That mistake led to errors in the level of schooling of the population. Corrections were made in the variables: V3001, V3009A, V3010, V3011a, V3012, V3013, V3014 and VD3001. There was a failure in two editing rules in the software CANCEIS hich were not properly interpreted at the moment of data imputation. GThat way there were changes in some registers for variables V40403 and V40763.
Actions: The microdata files were amended and replaced and a note of update was included on the page of access to the files, together with the Technical Note that describes the methodology adopted for the correction of data.

Change in the microdata relative to the Quarterly Continuous PNAD

Description: Change in the microdata of Continuous PNAD relative to: Q4/2014, Q1/2015, Q2/2015, Q4/2015 to Q1/2017. There was a problem in the imputation process and in the creation of the UPA variable. The changed variables were V3002A, V3003A, V4010, V4013 and UPA, amounting to 38 records alterd in all the period mentioned. The changes did not interfere with the survey indicators.
Actions: Files amended and replaced. An update note was included on the page of access to the files.
