In partnership with municipal administrations and other organizations, the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics – IBGE is honored to invite you to the launching events of the first pilot test of the 1st National Census of Population Experiencing Homelessness, which will be held in the second semester in five municipalities of every Braziliam Major Region.
The goal of the event is to celebrate the integration of the IBGE with municipal administrations and other mobilizing agents to disclose and operationalize the initial tests of this important Census, which represents a milestone by establishing, for the first time ever, a national statistical survey exclusively dedicated to this segment of the population. The pilot test allows to test the data collection tools; the composition of the technical teams, which will count with the presence of facilitators due to the uniqueness of the operation; and the logistics to cover the territories.
