The IBGE went into the field to carry out the 2nd Pilot Test of the 12th Census of Agriculture, Forestry and Aquaculture. Over the last two weeks, enumerators and observers from other institutions visited traditional communities and establishments in six Brazilian municipalities to test data collection equipment and the questionnaire that will be applied to producers. Accompanying this assessment step, the IBGE´s Communication team prepared a special series of the IBGE Podcast with all the details of this survey, fundamental to portray one of the most important sectors of the Brazilian economy. In the first episode, we invited the coordinator of the Census of Agriculture, Vando da Paz Nascimento, to talk about the scope of the operation.
