The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics, by means of the State Superintendency in Pará (SES/PA), will organize the event “Species Richness Map 2025”, opening the initiatives in commemoration of the IBGE's 90th anniversary in the North Region to celebrate the history of production and dissemination of statistics in the country by the Institute.
The event will take place on May 13, 2026, at 10am, in Barcarena, one of the municipalities hosting the second pilot test for the 12th Census of Agriculture, Forestry and Aquaculture, on May 11-22 this year.
The launch ceremony will be at the auditorium of the University of the State of Pará (Uepa), Campus XVI – Barcarena, in partnership with the Geography Teaching Department of the instituion.
