Watch live, on Friday, May 23, at 10 am, the release of preliminary results of the 2022 Population Census: Persons with disabilities and Persons diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder - Preliminary sample results. The event will take place at the Brazilian Bar Association - Rio Grande do Norte Sector.
The release will encompass information on the occurrence of disability and the type of functional impairment - seeing, hearing, walking, grasping small objects and communicating, carrying out personal care activities, working or studying due to limited menatl functions. The publication will also present results for persons diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Data, disaggregated by sex, color or race, age groups and level of schooling of the population, will be made available for Brazil, Major Regions, Municipalities and other geographies based on Municipalities.
The event will be streamed live on the Institute's social media channels. The results will be available on the IBGE website eand on platformssuch as SIDRA, and the Census Overview and the a Interactive Geographic Platform (PGI), where data can be accessed as interactive maps.
