This was the third consecutive year of growth in milk acquisition, following declines in 2021 and 2022. The 2025 acquisition surpassed the record set in 2020, of 25.64 billion liters.
In a monthly comparison, all months showed positive change compared to 2024, with the most significant change observed in October (+276.65 million liters).
There was an increase of 2.15 billion liters of milk in Brazil between 2025 and 2024, resulting from increased volume collected in 21 of the 26 Federation Units participating in the Quarterly Milk Survey. The most significant increases occurred in Rio Grande do Sul (418.56 million liters), Paraná (391.83 million liters), and São Paulo (297.20 million liters). However, there was a decrease in five states, the most significant being in Mato Grosso (-13.21 million liters), Espírito Santo (-10.73 million liters), and the Federal District (-3.16 million liters).
Minas Gerais continued to lead the ranking of milk acquisition, with 23.9% of the national collection, followed by Paraná (15.6%) and Rio Grande do Sul (12.8%).

The tanneries investigated by the Quarterly Survey of Leather are those that tan at least 5,000 whole units of bovine rawhide per year.
The increase of 3.95 million whole pieces of leather in Brazil was influenced by the increase in the receipt of bovine hides in nine of the 17 Federation Units participating in the survey. Among the FUs with more than 5.0% national participation, the most significant advances occurred in: Goiás (+1.48 million pieces), Rio Grande do Sul (586,020 pieces) and Rondônia (+300,030 pieces). Paraná, however, showed a reduction of 45,150 pieces.
