The month of March will be marked by an intense calendar of national events involving the IBGE, with active participation in government meetings, survey dissemination actions, and institutional activities aimed at strengthening dialogue with society.
On March 19th and 20th, the Institute participated in the Federative Caravan in São Paulo, an initiative of the Federal Government that brings the Union, states, and municipalities closer together, offering services, technical guidance, and sectoral coordination for public managers.

In Rio de Janeiro, the Institute will hold a presentation on PeNSE 2024 on Wednesday, March 25th, at 10:00 AM, at Casa Brasil.

Overview of the 2022 Population Census: Women in Brazil
The meeting, which will take place on Thursday, the 26th, at Casa Brasil IBGE branches and online, will present indicators from the 2022 Census related to the reality of women in the country, addressing topics such as education, work, income, fertility, mobility, and family composition. The objective is to foster analysis and reflection on policies aimed at promoting gender equality.
Upcoming Events
On March 26th and 27th, the IBGE will participate in the Rio de Janeiro Federative Caravan, reinforcing technical dialogue with municipal and state managers from Rio de Janeiro.
On the 27th, preparatory workshops for the 12th Census of Agriculture, Forestry and Aquaculture will take place in six municipalities. This initiative is an important step to ensure the quality and scope of the survey, which will be carried out throughout the country.
The event will include the workshop "Overview and Immersion in the 12th Census of Agriculture, Forestry and Aquaculture," led by speakers from the Institute's technical team. The activities will take place in the cities of Viamão (RS), Barcarena (PA), Corumbá (MS), Uruçuí (PI), Irati (PR), and Rio Verde (GO).
On March 30th and 31st, the 1st National Conference on Sustainable Development Goals will take place in Brasília, a strategic forum for aligning national actions with the global goals of the 2030 Agenda.
