Another edition of the Federal Government's Federative Caravan takes place this March, and the chosen state is São Paulo. On March 19 and 20, services from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) will be available at Expo Center Norte, located in Vila Guilherme, in São Paulo/SP.
The Federative Caravans project aims to bring the Government closer to society, bringing together the services of federal public offices in one place. Each edition is offered in a Federation Unit, where services, information and technical support are provided directly to the population and local managers.
The superintendent of the IBGE in São Paulo, Francisco Garrido Barcia, highlights: “The Federative Caravan is an important opportunity to make the entire IBGE available to authorities and managers, on an ongoing basis, even after the event, with a view to better directing our actions. In fulfillment of the institutional mission, the objective is to initiate and strengthen institutional articulations, both in the representation and dissemination of information and knowledge.”
During the São Paulo Federative Caravan, the Institute will have its own stand to provide direct service to public managers and the population. The team brings together experienced officers to guide visitors on accessing the IBGE databases, surveys and services.
